A Touch of Africa

Lately I have been exhausted and just want to sleep in and curl up with a good book.  I have a little series of special photos that didn't fit any of my posts from our last summers trip to Panama.  They are more artistic in nature and capture natures beautiful designs.  Today we head over to Gamboa where this shot was taken at the Panama Rainforest Discovery Center.  The palms here are very exotic and unique with a lot of different designs.
In these pictures I see so many textures hanging off this palm that it puzzles my mind.  It has an almost West African feel to them. Over the next several days, I'll present some unique palm tree shots.  I hope you enjoy.  This series is artsy in "nature".:)
